Inclusive
Every child is welcomed, celebrated, and respected—diversity embraced and valued.
About us
We all need support through the most important period of our children’s lives: the early years.

At our program we believe every child is unique. Children who come from various challenges in daily life should have access to a facility that facilitates positive learning. Children with special needs require daycare for the same reasons all children do: to grow, develop, learn, build friendships, and strengthen social play, cognitive, and gross motor development.
Our program prioritizes inclusion for all children by collaborating with external partners that support and train educators—including I Am For Kids, Providence, Renfrew, Grit, and ASAP when needed. These partnerships help identify developmental delays early so educators can work cohesively and keep every child safe and supported.
Each child is the focus of organized daily activities, with some needing a more customized approach.

We design activities so every child can participate, and we place sign language posters in classrooms so children of all skill levels feel appreciated and given equal opportunities.
When children are introduced to peers who may have exceptional needs—and hear stories of coping—they can learn something uplifting to carry into life. Whatever a child’s ability, age, gender, ethnic origin, religion, impairment, status, or economic background, all belong in everyday learning.
Our values
Every child is welcomed, celebrated, and respected—diversity embraced and valued.
Kindness and empathy, valuing individuality and respectful communication.
Ownership of actions, care for surroundings, and positive contribution.
Teamwork and open communication in a supportive learning environment.
Educators use screening tools such as the NDDS checklist and resources at MyHealth.Alberta.ca to understand milestones by age group. They approach each child with respect and kindness, learn about individual needs, and speak to children even when a verbal reply isn’t possible—because children understand warmth.
We recognize and value diversity. Educators foster cultural community—for example planning circle time around stories like Terry Fox—so physical differences and resilience are part of shared learning.
Our program supports staff through challenging situations and demanding periods throughout the day, so educators can stay present for children.
